Nicole

Nicole is a 52 year old man.

Nicole was taken ill at 47 through a stroke on his right hand side.

His mother is 72 years old and takes care of his needs.

They are paid 500,000 lei (approximately £20) a month from the government for his pension.

Nicole needs a catheter from which he constantly gets infections, he suffers badly from bedsores, he also needs pampers, his medication is very expensive, and they have very little money to live on.

He does have a wheelchair but rarely gets out unless a neighbour helps him.

There is no help for his mother and she can only get out if a neighbour will sit with him.

Nicole's mother is so emotional and distressed that she constantly breaks down.

Once more the same question was asked "what will happen to Nicole when I die, who will look after him?"
