Substantial progress has been made on the building where the welfare program is to be based.

The October 2001 and June 2002 Trip saw the plaster on the walls hacked off to 1.2 meters up and damp prevention treatment done and new plaster applied.

We have formed the shower cubicles in block work and tiled them, fitted the shower bases and doors. We have fitted all the toilets and cubicles.

All drainage work and plumbing has been completed and central heating system installed.

We have installed new electrical system and fuse boards.

We have installed laundry equipment comprising of two industrial washing machines and two industrial dryers.

We have installed a full dental surgery.

The October 2002 trip saw part walls and all floors tiled and decoration done to un-tiled walls and ceilings, with this module completed, it enabled the Romanians to apply for a grant to complete the rest of the building. To our delight, they were successful, this will relieve us of the building work and now we can get down to what the centre is needed for - helping the various problems that the people have to face.
